The challenge
The Skills NSW comparison experience needed to balance learner needs, provider requirements and an existing Adobe Commerce framework within a tight delivery window.

The approach
I reviewed existing research and iterated the prototype through five versions. Early concepts explored rich course cards and a comparison area. With stakeholders and developers, I narrowed the information, added course detail and list views, and developed mobile layouts and tooltips.

The outcome
The final prototype balanced useful course information with implementation feasibility. The team selected the simpler card approach to fit the release timeline.
