The challenge
The project explored how people could become more aware of one another’s emotions during personal conversations, without recording their exact words.

The approach
Our team developed sensor-enabled mugs and an LED campfire concept. I designed the 3D-printable mugs, created the project’s visual materials and produced two storyboarded films documenting the initial and final prototypes.

The outcome
The final prototype was demonstrated at a University of Queensland exhibition. The concept used light, colour and sound as an expressive representation of emotional changes during conversation.
